In-House Web Developer for Phos Architectural Lighting Company

Phos is a dynamic and fast-growing architectural lighting company based in Hatfield, Herts. We are seeking an experienced and talented In-House Web Developer to join our team and help us build and maintain our online presence.

As our In-House Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's websites, including product listsings and marketing pages. You will work closely with our marketing team and other stakeholders to ensure that our web presence is professional, user-friendly, and optimized for maximum visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain our company's websites and online stores
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure online content aligns with overall marketing strategy
  • Develop and implement SEO and SEM strategies to improve website traffic and search engine rankings
  • Ensure website functionality and usability across different browsers and devices
  • Monitor website performance and analytics to identify areas for improvement
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging web technologies and design trends

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in web development and design
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
  • Strong experience with WordPress and/or other CMS platforms
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce
  • Familiarity with SEO and SEM best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proficient experience in UX and UI – examples required
  • Knowledge of photoshop / Indesign
