Job Title Warehouse Administration Team Leader
Hours 40 per week

Salary £25 - £27,000 per annum
JOB OVERVIEW
We are recruiting for an experienced administrator who also has some experience of supervising a small team.
This role will suit someone who is familiar with a warehouse environment and who is able to deal with staff, customer and branch queries in an effective and efficient manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-ordinate office workflow including arranging coverage for absence of staff on holiday, sickness or training.
- As required, train and supervise the warehouse admin team, including appraisal and training needs analysis.
- Manage own and team progress towards business aims and objectives.
- Ongoing review and implementation of department processes, including guiding all branches through any revisions. This will require occasional visits to the branches.
- Oversee the day-to-day physical operations of the Warehouse Admin office: o Shipping Customer Sales Order Pick Tickets and producing Delivery Notes o Shipping Branch/Consignment Warehouse Transfer Pick Tickets and producing Delivery Notes o Create Air Products Delivery Notes , Load Sheets and Trip Documents, and ensure Orders are reconciled after delivery o Processing Customer and Vendor Returns o Processing Carrier Documentation o Processing Export Paperwork for Orders being shipped overseas o Creating Manifests for each Drivers Delivery Run o Creating Sales Orders for all internal usage stock
- Identify and resolve all queries in a timely and effective manner.
- Control of recycling services.
- Control of Gas Cylinder Returns (Calor/Hobbyweld)
- Ensure Carrier Pricing Documentation is kept up to date.
- Provide all necessary administrative back-up and support to the warehouse and stock control team. o Collate data and report on Inverness Warehouse Transfers at Picked and Received Stage, as well as quality of performance of Warehouse Transfers to Branches o Report daily on the volume of Customer orders/lines shipped the previous day. o Oversee issues with unavailable stock and non-stock goods.
- Adhere to all MIS Ltd policies and procedures including those relating to health and safety and environment protection (including the risk assessment and COSHH processes).
- Ensure departmental compliance in accordance with the company quality assurance procedures.
- Adhere to quality processes and procedures.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Excellent customer service skills when dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience of supervising a team of administrators.
- Ideally a background in a warehouse environment.
- Good knowledge of relevant systems, equipment and processes.
- Understands the importance of data accuracy within a warehouse context.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions relevant to the successful outcome and conclusion of the processes.
- Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change.
