We're looking for a Data Analyst (Maternity Cover - 12 month FTC) to join our team in London as part of our Content function.
Your Role: You will source, maintain, improve and drive the quality of our data content both externally and internally.
You will be expected to oversee WARC’s bespoke dynamic publishing system, including the collection and verification of data from hundreds of partners around the world, processing this information to meet high standards, identifying trends and publishing insights throughout the year to maintain our live database of 3,000+ dynamic Data Point articles
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a regular publication cycle of global, regional and local dynamic data content
- Timely data processing, including cleaning and ETL for publication
- Optimising our current dynamic publishing capabilities where necessary
- Producing ad hoc long- and short-form content from the insights within WARC’s database
- Supporting editors with data requests and insight generation
- Maintain and improve the quality of the data available to our clients
- You are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silenced
Your Experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Impeccable time management and the ability to work autonomously
- Good written English
- Strong familiarity with Infogram or another third party charting software
- Intermediate to advanced Excel ability (including Visual Basic)
- Basic Python, basic HTML, SQL and R not essential but preferred
- IInnovative problem solving abilities and good adaptability to changing situations
- A passion for data visualisation and a sound understanding of technique
- Exposure to a wide variety of data sets and database architectures
