Job Description

• Manage all accounting operations including cost accounting, financial closing and reporting, internal control and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, tax, fixed asset accounting, inventory management, and related activities
• Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site under US GAAP
• Analyse variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions
• Prepare forecasts and budgets in the scheduled deadlines with accuracy and punctuality to deliver high quality standards of data in line with all relevant reporting standards and accounting guidelines
• Capex controlling
• Implement new controlling tools and seek continuous improvement and use of best practices
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors (where required) to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
• All ad-hoc management accounting and controlling exercises required by the business
• Actively manages career development of direct reports, reviews performance, and provides coaching to enhance performance

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accounting with a certification in either ACCA, CPA, or CMA
• 8-10 years within a Finance & Controllership role
• Plant Accounting and/or FMCG experience required.
• Knowledge and use of business programs. SAP exposure is an advantage.
