Recra is working in partnership with a fantastic company that provides a high-quality and reliable service, with experience in the construction industry and civil engineering.
Position Overview:
- The role will be based at the premises in Enderby, Leicestershire.
- They are a thriving family-run business that has shown substantial growth year on year.
- They operate 29, Scania 8-wheel tipper lorries.
- Due to the continued company growth, have very recently moved into their brand new transport depot.
- Their newly refurbed workshop has fantastic facilities which consist of a full-length inspection pit and canteen/kitchen.
The successful candidate:
- Monday to Friday 10-hour day shift.
- You will work alongside other technicians.
- Be a key member of the team and report to the business Directors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining Scania - 32-tonne 8-wheel tippers.
- Fleet breakdown cover.
- Fault diagnostics.
- MOT preparation.
- Monitoring & Managing driver defects.
- Mechanical, electrical & body repairs.

As a successful candidate, you will have had the experience of working within a similar role in a busy HGV workshop. Ideally, you will be level 3 trained in vehicle maintenance and repair or be a time-served technician. It would be advantageous if you hold an HGV class 2 license & have a strong experience with Scania trucks. Experience in maintaining tipping vehicles is preferred but not essential.
Ability to commute/relocate to Leicester & driving license is required!
