Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: Up to £28k per annum DoE

Hours: 37.5 per week (08:30 – 17:00, Mon – Fri)

Working Style: Home Based (Some travel to Horsham required)

Do you have experience in a commercial role working with customers, generating contracts and costings? Are you organised with a passion for providing outstanding customer service whilst meeting deadlines? If you answered yes, you should join our friendly and enthusiastic Commercial Team as a Commercial Analyst working on a home-based basis.

Your key objectives in this exciting role will be to produce outstanding bid responses and proposals to our customers to win contracts currently on offer. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the business including Sales, Pre-sales and Bid Management departments to help drive the business forward.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has commercial experience and is looking to progress in their career. We work with many different systems and are firmly focused on delivering first class training through our very own Daisy University, and through our amazing team who work together to support each other.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Working with our Sales teams, Pre-sales, Bid Managers, Project Managers, Legal team, suppliers and customers to construct winning commercial propositions.
  • Consistently applying the commercial aspects of our Daisy Governance policy.
  • Supporting Product Managers on the commercial aspects of our product portfolio.
  • Understanding our clients’ financial needs and matching these with Daisy and our supplier capabilities.
  • Creating renewal bid pricing and provide comparison with current contract costs.
  • Analysing profit and loss data and providing Cashflow models to both Sales and Management for bids.
  • Working with our Product Managers to model the costs and pricing for products in our portfolio.
  • Preparing and presenting data for business review and approval as part of our bid approval process.
  • Improving win rates, Increasing profitability and reducing risk in signed contracts between Daisy and our customers.

Qualifications


Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree Level or equivalent experience
  • IT Industry knowledge
  • Ability to understand and communicate Financial details
  • Solid relationship building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to organise and plan to meet key deadlines
  • Strong knowledge Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience of using Salesforce and CPQ (configure, price quote) tools
  • Commercially and financially aware - e.g. of cashflow and profit and loss

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage a range of varied tasks, manage priorities and drive projects through to completion
  • Ability to work proactively as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Strong interest in ICT and be motivated to learn quickly
